London Local Authorities confirm SRC WinScribe digital dictation system market leadership position
London, 07 January 2008 - SRC, the exclusive WinScribe Platinum partner, today announced that it has been selected to roll out the world leading WinScribe digital dictation solution to in-house legal departments at The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and at The London Borough of Lambeth. Every London Borough that has invested in a digital dictation solution in the last two years has selected a WinScribe based solution.
The systems will enable both Legal Departments to meet their objective of increasing fee earner and secretary productivity and improve the service provided by speeding up document turnaround times.
Speaking about the decision to select SRC, Don Pitts, Legal Services Business Manager for the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, said: “Given our commitment to improved working practices we looked at all the leading players and found the SRC WinScribe solution offered the best technology to match our requirements. This, complimented by their professionalism, well-thought out services and delivery expertise in local authorities, made SRC the obvious partner for us.”
Gerard Kamath, Business Manager at Lambeth, commenting on the decision to select SRC said: “Based on an exhaustive analysis of the functional capabilities of the WinScribe, Big Hand and N Flow systems, we concluded that WinScribe has consistently shown technology leadership with innovations in remote working support, automated document return facilities and, most recently, integrated speech recognition.” Deployment will start in January.

This latest news from SRC comes on the back of its announcement in May that SRC are also the confirmed leader in providing dictation solutions to the Patents Attorney and Surveying markets.
