Connells to enhance customer service with SRC WinScribe Digital Dictation system

London 10 September 2007 – SRC, the leading provider of document creation solutions, has won a contract to deliver the WinScribe Digital Dictation solution to Connells, one of the largest and most successful estate agency and surveying groups in the UK.

The selection of SRC to deliver the WinScribe system was made in light of product superiority over other solutions, coupled with SRC’s experience in implementing, training and supporting complex digital dictation solutions. The new system will be used by all Connells residential surveyors and provides better remote working capabilities and the ability to enhance Connells levels of customer care. The advanced team-based workflow in the system will enable better work sharing within the central transcription team as well as better use of support staff across the branch network leading to reduced survey turnaround times.

Under the contract, SRC will replace the existing digital dictation system and provide enhanced capabilities to more than 200 surveyors and 40 secretaries.

As part of the solution, surveyors will be able to dictate urgent reports using standard land line and mobile telephones. Telephony based dictations will then be automatically routed to secretaries for transcription. Training provided by SRC will also ensure that surveyors can quickly leverage the product’s power to maximise document efficiencies. The new system will also provide Connells with much better management information on document turnaround times and team performance, allowing better capacity planning and delivery on Mortgage providers SLA’s. The system will also be much easier for IT to maintain and support than the existing system.

The SRC solution is capable of running in parallel with or integrating with the enterprise component of applications, such as Quest and Xit2.
