SRC to hold Speech Recognition seminar for Top 500 law firms
London, 20 February 2009 - SRC, the leading provider of document creation solutions, today announced they will be running a speech recognition seminar at The Law Society’s Hall on the 1st April. The half day seminar is free to attend and will investigate why law firms are now implementing and re-assessing this technology as a key part of their cost saving strategy.
Guest speaker Charles Christian, editor of the Legal Technology Insider, will present at the seminar. In addition the seminar will include case studies from legal firms that are already using speech recognition solutions. As well as providing a look at the business reasons for adopting speech recognition we will provide information about other ‘credit crunch’ technologies that are helping law firms maximise productivity and profit. There will also be a live demonstration of the latest version of Dragon Speech Recognition software and attendees will be provided with a free evaluation copy of the software, as well as SRC’s exclusive Legal Edition Vocabulary.
The half day seminar will be followed by lunch, which will provide an excellent opportunity to speak with peers, guest speakers as well as staff from SRC and Nuance.
Chris Hart, CEO at SRC added: “Historically speech recognition has received mixed opinion from law firms. However, given the current need to cut support costs and the software’s improved functionality and accuracy rates, many firms are looking to speech recognition to provide cost savings and improve document creation efficiencies. The SRC seminar will provide an excellent opportunity to learn from law firms that have adopted speech recognition.”
The seminar takes place on the 1st April at the Law Society’s Hall, London and if you would like to reserve your place please register at www.src.co.uk/morewithless.html or call 020 7471 0100.
