Remote Working Excellence Sees Firm-Wide Roll Out for WinScribe Digital Dictation at Cobbetts

firm Cobbetts has announced that it is rolling out the latest
release of the WinScribe digital dictation workflow system
to over 700 staff in its Birmingham, Leeds and Manchester
offices. The firm will use WinScribe at all office locations
by the end of March 2006.
Neil Davies, who is project managing the roll-out for Cobbetts
said, "The WinScribe 3.6 release provides an easy-to-use
fee earner interface combined with key strengths in its ability
to support Cobbetts' fee earners to work remotely. The WinScribe
system also offers a robust and efficient solution for remote
working via Citrix, which meant no changes to the firm's Citrix
infrastructure or security model were necessary."

Cobbetts is rolling out version 3.6 of the WinScribe system, integrated with the firm's Norwel matter management and iManage document management systems. Fee earners will have access to a wide range of input methods for remote dictation, including telephony, PDAs and WinScribe Anywhere. The unique WinScribe Anywhere allows dictations to be uploaded to the WinScribe system from any Internet enabled PC without the need for additional software.
