Paul Lockyer to Head Up SRC's Expanded Document Creation Consultancy Group
London - 10 October 2006 - SRC, the UK's exclusive WinScribe Platinum Partner, has appointed Paul Lockyer to head up its newly expanded document creation consultancy group. Paul joins SRC as the company continues to broaden its operations from its established digital dictation and speech recognition solutions to encompass other document creation and management technologies.
Led by Paul Lockyer, SRC's consultancy services enable firms already using document creation technologies such as digital dictation and speech recognition to re-examine the systems and processes they're using and identify areas for improvement.
"Although consultancy requirements are led by each firm's particular objectives and challenges, typical focus areas include the following: reviewing the true cost of firm-wide document creation; maximising return-on-investment; resource planning and allocation; evaluating how new and complementary technologies could increase efficiency; and in providing guidance on the strategic direction of the firm's document production processes," explained Paul Lockyer.
"We are receiving a lot of interest for these services from large and medium size firms. With larger teams and multiple departments, these firms typically experience a higher turnover of fee earners, secretaries and administrators, which means that their systems and processes must continually evolve to support this constant change. A major firm already working with SRC has identified potential additional savings of between £350k and £500k as a result of the consultancy process; improvements that many more firms have the potential to achieve," he continued.
Paul has over 16 years experience in the document creation industry, most recently gained as Technical Director with e-Dict. Prior to e-Dict Paul held various product marketing, international sales, project management and implementation roles during 10 years with Philips Speech Processing.
"We're delighted to have attracted someone of Paul's experience to join SRC to help our customers build on the success of their current document creation solutions," said Chris Hart, SRC CEO. "Our approach has always been to emphasise a technology independent, consultative approach to solution delivery, the expansion of SRC's consultancy services are a natural progression of this approach. These services also complement our strategy to broaden our services and solutions to encompass all elements of the document creation process."
