Watson Burton Firm-Wide Digital Dictation Roll Out Completed in Just 2 Months

London - 5 October 2006 - Leading law firm Watson Burton LLP has completed the roll out of a WinScribe digital dictation system to over 300 staff in its Newcastle, Leeds and London offices. The roll out took just 2 months after signing an agreement with SRC, the UK's exclusive WinScribe Platinum Partner, to supply and deploy the solution.

Watson Burton was one of the UK's fastest growing legal practices in 2005, and selected the WinScribe system following a rigorous evaluation process aimed at identifying the best digital dictation solution to support the firm's continued growth plans and ongoing excellence of client service.

Watson Burton staff are using a solution combining WinScribe 3.6 with a variety of input methods, allowing the firm's fee earners to dictate effortlessly regardless of location. Fee earners have facilities to dictate at their desks via Philips SpeechMikes or remotely using Olympus DS-4000 digital recorders or from any telephone.

The WinScribe digital dictation system is now in use at over 2,300 sites worldwide. UK law firms who have recently rolled out the WinScribe system from SRC include Cobbetts, Berrymans Lace Mawer, Foot Anstey, CMS Cameron McKenna, Beachcroft LLP and Walker Morris.
